Anabel Alarcon brings to EXFO ten years of experience on networking troubleshooting for IP, MPLS and mobile backhaul technologies, her background allowed her to be part of the support team on the most important network manufacturers on the market. Supporting different services provider’s networks across Latin America, participating on product introduction and infrastructure implementation, also becoming account dedicated engineer for the most important service provider in Mexico.
Gwenn Amice is a Subject Matter Expert at EXFO, where he specializes in next-generation optical networks. In his current role, Gwenn provides technical seminars, training, and support to EXFO's customers, helping them navigate the complex landscape of optical network technology. He also offers technical advice to customers, leveraging his deep expertise to help them overcome any challenges they may encounter.
Since 2019, Gwenn has also served as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, representing EXFO at industry events and working closely with product development groups to ensure that EXFO's solutions remain at the cutting edge of the field.
With 28 years of experience in the entire lifecycle of telecom networks, Gwenn brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at EXFO. He holds a university degree in electrical engineering and industrial computing and is a passionate advocate for continued learning and growth. Gwenn is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in his field, and is dedicated to helping EXFO's customers succeed in the rapidly-evolving world of optical network technology.
Andrea Guglierame is a Business Development Manager at EXFO. Andrea started his career in 2006 as System Test Engineer and Designer of LiNbO3 electro-optic modulators at Avanex (then Oclaro). In 2009, he joined Finisar (now Coherent) holding various positions as Field Application Engineer, Technical Sales Specialist and Sales Manager with a focus on tunable and coherent optics. He holds a master's degree in telecommunication engineering with a specialization in optical communication from Politecnico di Milano.
Aldo Gutierrez completed his B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and his M.Sc. in Photonics with honors at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He subsequently earned his PhD in Physics from the University of Rennes (France) in 2017, focusing on the design, development, and metrology of optical integrated sensors. His notable contributions have enabled active participation in approximately 25 international scientific conferences and collaborative involvement in over 15 peer-reviewed articles, both as an author and co-author.
Since 2017, he has been associated with EXFO. He initially joined the Manufacturing, Design, and Research Business Unit as a Product Specialist before moving into the role of Product Line Manager. In this capacity, he contributed to defining, launching, and supporting various activities related to tunable lasers, optical spectrum analyzers, tunable filters, BER testers, and optical oscilloscopes. Currently, he holds the position of Business Development Manager in the US, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the company's strategic and tactical approaches in the Photonic Integrated Circuit and High-Speed Optical Communications segments.

Sophie Legault is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Sophie currently holds the position of Director Product Management - Network Deployment and Operations business unit.
With a solid background that spans service providers, network equipment manufacturers and test and measurement, she is well-equipped to manage complex projects and lead teams towards success. Her current role involves overseeing the development and execution of product and solution strategies and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth. She is also responsible for leading strategic planning initiatives and has spoken at multiple industry events.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and an MBA from École des Hautes Études Commerciales in Montreal.

Guillaume Lavallee is a product line manager at EXFO, the communications industry’s test, monitoring and analytics experts. He oversees the optical products in the Installation and Maintenance division. He has more than 15 years of experience in telecom test and measurement, related technologies and best practices. Guillaume has a bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering, specialized in Optics, as well as an MBA from Canada’s University Laval.
Leo Lin has 20+ years of experience in the telecom and IT sectors. He currently holds the position of Director – NEMs Manufacturing Design & Research at EXFO. Prior to that, Leo has held various leadership roles in product management, sales & marketing and engineering at Finisar, QXP, Wistron, EZconn and Chorum and led multidisciplinary teams to launch over 16 new product families for data centers, wireless, DWDM transport and FTTx. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from University of Toronto and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal.
David J. Rodgers is a seasoned Test and Measurement (T&M) professional with wide-ranging experience in serial communications protocol and interconnect validation, and a focus on Ethernet network and Fibre Channel fabric solutions where he has been defining, designing, deploying and marketing a broad range of high-speed serial analysis T&M products for SANs and LANs. David has 35+ years industry experience in bringing new computer technologies to market with a wide-ranging background in business, program management and product development of serial protocol T&M solutions. He is an original member of the USB Implementers Forum and one of the pioneer marketers of USB protocol analyzers. David represents EXFO for high-speed interconnect test technologies including Ethernet and Fibre Channel in various protocol industry groups such as IEEE, T10/T11 standards bodies, the Ethernet Alliance and the Fibre Channel Industry Association.
Romain Tursi is a Solution Manager for EXFO Remote Fiber Testing & Monitoring. He has been in the test & measurement industry for over 10 years, helping operators and contractors with best practices for efficient fiber deployment and reliable optical networks. Romain has a background in business development and international sales support. He holds a MBA, International Management from Laval University and a Bachelor in Management Sciences from Aix-Marseille University.
Jean-Marie Vilain brings to EXFO more than thirty years of extensive experience in optical transport networks, signal integrity testing and protocol network testing. His past experience also led him to work with major telecom accounts in Americas, EMEA and Asia, and to develop a deep expertise in technical marketing, competitive analysis and sales strategy. Jean-Marie Vilain holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from École de technologie supérieure de Montréal.
